Cory Henry, Sacramento, 2016

CORY HENRY NIKON1-800 (1 of 1)

Grammy-award winning keyboardist and Snarky Puppy contributor Cory Henry visited ‪#‎Sacramento‬ last night with his Revival Project trio at Harlows Restaurant & Night Club.

The result was part-Baptist gospel tent revival meeting, part-Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea concert, and part-Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye mash-up.

Gospel, soul, funk, and jazz all co-mingled quite nicely.

It was an incendiary evening of fantastic musicianship. About the
only thing missing was the passing of an offering plate during the Hammond B3 organ solos.

Can I get a witness?!
