    • Bhutan and its people have a special place in my heart. Not sure how much has changed since I trekked the Chomolhari route in 2005, but at that time, there were few roads and most places were a two day hike to get to. Unlike Its neighbor Nepal, Bhutan’s government required visitirs to spend approx. $200 per day in order to get a visa. So cheap it is not!
