    • Thanks for the kind words. As most photographers know, we are our harshest critics; and I always say “If I knew then, what I know now about photography…”…but all-in-all, I cherish these images for the great memories of the places and the people of Nepal who made a life-long impression on me with their warmth, sense of humor, and ability to adapt to conditions most Westerners would never be able to cope with. Camera at the time was my then-20-year-old Canon AE-1. No auto focus, no image stabilization, no continuous shutter. Just compose, click, wind and repeat with Kodak Kodachrome and Ektachrome slide film, plus a couple Fuji APS disposables.


      • You’re welcome and thank you for the additional information. My wife Jane Ingram Allen and I spent a month in Katmandu on an artist residency in 1998. I agree with you on the Nepalese people.
