Nepal: Everest View Hotel

Everest View hotel03

Mt. Everest is reflected in the windows of the Everest View Hotel, sometimes referred to as the “World’s Highest Hotel,” at approximately 12,730 ft above sea level.

I stopped there for lunch and a beer during my trek through the Solu Khumbu region of Nepal in 2000.

Ten rolls of 35mm Kodak film negatives shot with my trusty Canon AE1 are being digitized as we speak …so a few more memorable images from the Nepal trek archives may be forthcoming in a couple of weeks.
