Patagonia: Gaucho

GAUCHO1 (1 of 1)

Here’s another recently revisited image from my 2007 trek in Patagonia featuring a grab shot of a gaucho at the Estancia Nibepo Aike, where I spent two nights, in southernmost Argentina.

This particular estancia was a 25,000 acre working cattle, sheep and horse ranch complete with gauchos, like the gentleman above, whose face communicated much history and character of the region.

I never did get his name. Any clues?
